HELP! I HAVE DAMAGE! What do I do now?

Inspect your vehicle for damage after the hail storm. If this is a ding or minor collision, simply call Diamond Dent Repair at 505-386-1390. It's important to inspect your vehicle in clean, dry conditions to ensure you can assess the damage properly. Hail dents can be deceiving. 

If the hail stones have, in fact, caused damage to your vehicle, your first course of action should be to call your insurance company to file a claim. It is VERY important to remember that your insurance rates cannot be increased as a result of a hail storm. Hail storms are an act of nature and most certainly NOT YOUR FAULT!

Most insurance companies will encourage you to use a repair facility that they just so happen to have a discount program agreement with. Often, they will use manipulative statements, such as, "We will not warranty any work done at shops other than our preferred providers." This is terribly misleading because they also do not warranty work done at their preferred provider shops! Any warranty you receive will come from the repair facility.

After filing your claim, it is always best to bring your car to DDR for a much more thorough inspection. All we need is your information, insurance information and the insurance claim number. At that point, we will schedule a day and time for you to drop off the vehicle.

After DDR has your vehicle safely at our shop, your insurance company will send an adjuster to us to approve and agree upon our internal estimate of repair. At this point, the adjuster authorizes DDR to begin the repair process. Most hail damage repairs take less than 3 days with moderate damage. However, we will be in contact with you every step of the way. This way you are not left in the dark wondering what may be going on with your vehicle. 

Once given approval to begin repair, DDR's very highly qualified technicians will start working their magic. PDR is a very time-consuming and tedious process. We must meticulously work each dent out one at a time to restore your vehicle to a pristine diamond finish, just like the hail never fell! 

Don't be fooled by fly-by-night hail gypsies and out of town dent companies. Many times, these people roll into town a day or two after a hail storm and pitch big, ugly circus tents to work under. All while offering to do your repairs for almost nothing. Unfortunately, they are great sales people and you get left owning a poorly repaired vehicle and the guarantees they offered, well...they leave when the gypsies leave.
